Helmet fitting guide

The right helmet should stay with you.

A size chart is the starting point, not the final test. Measure carefully, select the exact brand and model family, then try the helmet on whenever possible before riding.

Measure once. Confirm twice.

Use a soft measuring tape and keep it level around the widest part of your head.

    Place the tape about 2.5 cm above your eyebrows and wrap it around the widest part of your head.

  2. 02

    Keep the tape comfortably snug without pulling it tight. Repeat the measurement to confirm the number.

  3. 03

    Read the chart for the exact brand and model family. Do not transfer a size from another helmet brand.

Veldt sizing

Veldt Mark 1 uses six sizes. Its official chart places 58 cm in both M and L, so a try-on should decide between them. Mark 2 uses three grouped sizes with a rear adjustment wheel.

How the fit should feel

  1. 01The helmet should not move freely, cause pain or slide toward the eyes.
  2. 02When you move a correctly fitted Mark 1 helmet, the lining should pull the skin rather than slip over it.
  3. 03Mark 1 fit can be refined with the supplied removable crown and cheek padding. Keep cheek pads installed for riding.
